Karin in Kodachrome 1936
I'm not really acquainted with all the rare and dying breeds of 35mm film. I have enough to be nostalgic about. But a friend recently told me that Kodachrome was discontinued last year and now the last lab that develops the stuff if going away. Apparently, "for the last 5 years, there's only been one lab in the world that can handle the complexity of the K-14 process. You have to add dyes for each color layer during development... makes it long and complicated..."
Anyway, Rest in Peace K. This photo is meant to look like it was taken on your sweet, sweet emulsion in 1936.
